20th July 2013
Windsurfing: Felixstowe dip
Wind Direction: NE
Wind Stength: 15/21KTS
Surf / Sea State: flat
Air Temperature: warm
Sea Temperature: warm
Weather: cloudy
Max Speed: 27.00 (knots - unless stated otherwise)
Distance Covered: 18.03 nm (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise)

Another fabulous 3rd day in a row 5***** all the way (except rigged 8.7 when 7.7 would have been fine and my horse lost, bastard)
The carpark was full loads out at 3 when I arrived. Some sailors were struggling but the wind stats were 12/21 kts so I knew my kit would work.
Rigged the best boards I have owned 146/120 Jp excite rides pro ed'.
Used the 146 with a 50cm MFC RC2 race fin plugged to Pryde H2 twin cammed 8.7 slalom sail. I am 100kg and that kit goes to harness in 8/10kts, 12kts in the straps and anymore yeeeaaahh :)
The sea was flat so started some speed runs. I deliberately set the sail flat for high wind, to focus on more speed and lose some bottom end - it worked as the runs out to sea were very broad on the flat 200m bit, with most runs were 25/26 kts till I hit top speed at 27kts.
Top day for me and never stopped planing except for gybes.
New stats for me - sailing 1hr 37 mins constantly without dropping one gybe - (only stopped to hear Kryton factor my bookie bet lose :(
27kts top speed and sailed 18.03 Nm
